In 2008, I started working with the Volunteer Center of Rhode Island (www.vcri.org) to recognize the recipients of their Outstanding Volunteer Awards. These presentations highlight the efforts of some very special volunteers who selflessly help animals, people and make their communities better places to live. It is an honor to tell their stories.
